My Story

My story starts from when I was ten years old, both myself and my dad would regularly visit the local parks for a ride on the bikes. On what would be our last ride together, we planned to go around our favourite route around the local country park. To which that week my dad started experiencing symptoms with a diagnosis shortly after, disabling the ability to take part in many activities.

Since receiving his diagnosis 16 years ago with relapsing remitting MS, life seemed to flip on its head. But his ability to keep positive mental attitude and make the most of each day, whilst also being the rock and hard place for me and the family has given me the drive and determination to take on this challenge and give something back. Even though I haven’t cycled a wheel in a very long time!

After several years of wanting to participate, I’m taking the plunge. So, this summer I will be cycling 150 miles from Whitehaven to Tynemouth to raise funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis with Bike the UK for MS. We will stop along the way to volunteer and meet amazing local MS groups that will help to support!

Support the fight against MS and help me reach my fundraising goal! Follow along as I pedal from Sea to Sea with Bike the UK for MS!
