My Story

I'm pedalling again, and this time you can help fight against MS and follow along as I pedal from Whitehaven to Tynemouth with Bike the UK for MS!

Any donations are greatly appreciated!

This summer Lindsay and I will be biking 150 miles from Whitehaven, Cumbria to Tynemouth, Tyne & Wear crossing part of the Lakes and the Pennines to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis with Bike the UK for MS. Whilst this trip is a nice, easy few hours drive, our 250 miles will be spread across 3 days so that we are able to stop along the way to volunteer and meet amazing local MS groups that will help to support! ALL the donations raised go to the following:

MS is a lifelong, progressive and unpredictable condition that requires so much strength both mentally and physically to live well and remain positive each day.

Most will know that our Dad has MS, and whilst we were growing up he took on a lot of the 'housey' jobs as he couldn't always be active and outdoorsy with us, so this is our way of saying thank you for being the 'house Dad' and for filling us up with grub throughout our childhood!

No fancy hotels, no warm meals waiting for us, showers unlikely too.. This will certainly be a challenge, but we're ready for it! Just a simple £2 donation can really make all the difference.. That's not even the price of a bacon bap! So come on, spare a little and the bacon baps are on me when I'm back! Bring it on!
