I was diagnosed with RRMS last year. I suddenly don't feel invincible anymore and uncertain about my future. I am doing this cycle ride to raise money for the MS society, which has helped me immensely, as well as to prove to myself that I can still do something like this.
The importance of the MS society's work has been made clear to me personally, as I have a family member who was diagnosed with MS 40 years ago. Thanks to the MS society, the treatment and support available to me is so much better than what was available to her at the time of her diagnosis. This huge progress has been possible due to the MS society's funding, however, work is still needed to improve diagnosis, treatments and ultimately to develop a cure. By donating to my fundraising page you can help to further this work.
Support the fight against MS and help me reach my fundraising goal! Follow along as I pedal from Land's End to John O'Groats with Bike the UK for MS!
This summer I will be biking 1,020 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis with Bike the UK for MS. We will stop along the way to volunteer and meet amazing local MS groups that will help to support!
