My Story

Support the fight against MS and help me reach my fundraising goal! Follow along as I pedal from John O'Groats to Land's End with Bike the UK for MS!

This summer I will be biking 1,020 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis with Bike the UK for MS.

I have been diagnosed with MS for 13 years and I wish to show that a challenge like this is achievable despite the obstacles imposed by this condition. I will be completing the challenge on a specially made racing tricycle. The tricycle is a necessity to overcome the balance challenges that MS has brought and the need to adapt as my body has evolved with the progression of my condition. Whilst my body is ever changing in its MS chrysalis, I am determined to never give up!

I am passionate about raising money for the MS society having previously run the London Marathon (in my early years of diagnosis) and this year completing a skydive (overcoming a massive fear of mine). The skydive has shown me the importance of embracing your fears, something I’m reminded of everyday when getting on the trike and the constant feeling I’m going to topple over!

On our 15 day journey from John o Groats to Land’s End we will stop along the way to volunteer and meet amazing local MS groups that will help to support!
