My Story

I'm grateful everyday for my family, good friends, faith, and the chance to give something back.  Like most of you, there is someone in our extended family that has MS.  And this is my way to try to help.

Its a crazy time with this pandemic. If you are in a position financially to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. If things are uncertain, no worries...appreciate you cheering me and this group on.   COVID is scary for all of us.  For those with MS it poses a unique challenge, as the immune system is already at risk or compromised.

in 2019, I cycled from John O'Groats, Scotland to Land's End England with this organization, Bike the UK for MS, and personally saw the support they give those with MS in town, after town, after town. :)  The hope, the fellowship, the donations to provide needed items, and funds to help find a cure, was impressive.  This year, we are doing the event virtually as a team.

My goal this year is to have my biggest cycling day ever.  As you may know, cycling is measured in miles and vertical (the amount of uphill climbing).   I'll be attempting to ride over 100 miles (which I've done before) and 10,000 feet of vertical (which I've never done) on Saturday, July 25th along Skyline Drive in VA.   Wish me luck and if you can donate.   Thank you!!!
